For Immediate
Williamsport, PA – Mayor Derek Slaughter has partnered with Mask Crusaders to offer equipment donations to frontline workers battling COVID-19. Below is a press release from Mask Crusaders:
“As the COVID crisis escalates, frontline workers who are not able to self-isolate are left with limited resources protecting them. Artists, builders, restaurants and others who had to shutter their businesses during the crisis have materials on hand. We are calling for those with materials to donate to those in need.
If you, or anyone you know, have any supply of needed equipment such as gloves and masks, please consider donating them to those on the frontline of the COVID-19 Pandemic at bit.ly/MaskCrusadersWilliamsportPA-Donations . Thank you for standing in solidarity with one another.
Frontline workers can receive donations by finding what they need on the form bit.ly/MaskCrusadersWilliamsportPA-Recipients and then reaching out to them directly to pick up. It is really simple and fast, no go-between, so we were able to “collect” and “distribute” over 3,000 units after launching it this weekend, with thousands more available for pickup at any given time!
