Contractor M & J Excavation, will be starting a paving project during the week of 07/06/26 and will continue for the next 2 weeks or so.
All streets will be milled first and then the crews will come back and re-pave.
Street to be done include:
- CENTER STREET (HIGH ST. TO MEMORIAL AVE.)
- MEMORIAL AVENUE (WALNUT ST. TO CENTER ST.)
- ELMIRA STREET (PARK AVE. TO KRAMER CT.)
- WEST THIRD STREET (ARCH ST. THRU POPLAR ST.)
- POPLAR STREET (W. THIRD ST. THRU FEDERAL AVE.)
- FOURTH STREET (HEPBURN ST. TO MULBERRY ST.)
Project Update – 08-13-26:
On Saturday 8/15 beginning at 10pm, downtown there will be nighttime work for line painting on Fourth Street from Mulberry St to Hepburn St, there will be no parking on Fourth St in this vicinity beginning at 9pm. Work will continue through the night until finished.
Project Update – 07-22-26:
The contractor M & J will be downtown this Friday 7/24 paving on Fourth St from Mulberry St to Market St and from Market St to Pine St. They will finish downtown on Monday 7/27 and pave from Pine St to Hepburn St.
They are currently paving on Memorial, Center and Elmira, they are finished paving in front of American Rescue. They have already paved W Third St from Arch to Federal and Trenton.
